A zine collection of unique monsters.
The Big Bad Booklet is a fully illustrated zine-style booklet featuring unique and playable boss monsters. This includes details about the boss' back story, personality, and tactics that can be fully utilized in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. Through Patreon, a new booklet from the series is released monthly to subscribers.
Why a Zine?
The TTRPG community has many dedicated and creative fans. In order to cater to that audience, a more organic and collectable approach was taken with this project. Therefore, a zine was an inspiration for this series. Each booklet needed to have its own stand-alone story and art style while also maintaining it’s branding in the series. This was done through templated elements that carry across each booklet layout while still leaving enough flexibility to input any style of art and storytelling.
